Solomon’s (a Poem)

Solomon’s (a poem)

I climbed Solomon’s Temple to see the blue sky and dazzling sunlight along with a lofty hug of wind. A new year, a new beginning, but not for us.

Like a woman who’s been cheating for years, treating you ill. As the relationship draws to a close, she shows one final act of kindness but it’s too late. The love has gone. The well is dry.
